Office of General Counsel (OGC)

OGC services include providing legal advice to the Senate, the Chancellor, the Vice-Chancellor, senior executives and other officers of the University, and co-ordinating any external legal services provided to the University.

 Offers audits, reviews, corruption prevention and investigation, insurance advice and processing and risk development strategies.

Archives and Records Management (ARMS)

Provides recordkeeping systems for managing the University's current and archival hardcopy and electronic files and oversees access to the University's records and information in compliance with the NSW State Records Act, the Government Information (Public Access) Act and privacy legislation.

Records Online All files and documents are managed via the University's corporate recordkeeping system, known as Records Online.  
University Archives  The University Archives  holds the administrative records of the University of Sydney as well as the records of institutions which have amalgamated with the University.

Policy Management Unit The Policy Management Unit is a unit within the Office of General Counsel. It is responsible for developing and maintaining the University’s internal policy framework and managment of the University's Policy Register.
