Students & Staff

Many alumni of the University will have strong memories of the Great Hall from their graduation, but, the hall has been used by staff and students for a wide variety of purposes. Students sat exams in the Great Hall until the early 1980s.

The images below give a brief snapshot of the various events that have taken place. Recent events include a career fair for students, free organ recitals, mini lecture on the stained glass of the Great Hall, panel discussion with former Prime Minister Bob Hawke, and former Premiers Bob Carr and Geoff Gallop, student reunion dinners, and long service awards ceremony.
