Researchers from the University of Sydney have had outstanding success in recent rounds of research funding from the major Australian peer reviewed research bodies.

ARC
- Success across the board in latest round of ARC grants for 2013: Discovery, DECRA and LIEF
- 36 University academics awarded inaugural DECRA funding from ARC
- University of Sydney ARC funding success for awards commencing in 2012: Discovery, Discovery Indigenous, Linkage and LIEF schemes.
- ARC Future Fellowships: $12.3 million awarded to 17 Sydney academics
- $6.7 million in ARC Linkage Grants, supporting 19 projects

NHMRC
