USA Foundation

The University of Sydney USA Foundation supports educational institutions in the United States of America and Australia, including the University of Sydney. The foundation provides a tax advantaged way for USA taxpayers to support teaching, learning and research at the University of Sydney.

To date the foundation has raised over $3.5 million for important programs which have made a real difference to the lives of students, staff and the wider community. 100% of gifts received by the foundation are granted to educational causes. Not one cent is retained for administrative support, unlike many other similar foundations.

The foundation is incorporated in Washington, DC as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organisation. Gifts to the Foundation can be claimed as tax deductions by US taxpayers.
