Professor Mack has been an Honorary Associate Professor in the School of Mathematics and Statistics since 1997. He has played a major role in mathematics education for all school levels in New South Wales, Australia generally and internationally. Following retirement in 1997, he continues to advise in this field with government bodies and professional associations.
