Academic Board Elections
Every two years elections are held for the following categories of Academic Board members:
In addition, elections are held every year for student representatives.
The legislation covering the election of members to the Academic Board can be found in University of Sydney (Academic Governance) Rule 2003
In 2012, elections will be held in the following categories:
Student Members to Faculties
One year term of office: 1 January 2013 - 31 December 2013
The next election of student members to faculty boards will be held in Semester 2, 2013.
Academic Staff Members from Faculties
Two year term of office: 1 January 2012 - 31 December 2013
The next election of academic staff members to the Academic Board will be held in Semester 2, 2013.
Student Members to Academic Board
One year term of office: 1 January 2013 - 31 December 2013
Eligible students will be contacted by the University Secretariat with information on how to nominate.
The next election of student members to the Academic Board will be held in Semester 2, 2013.
Chair of the Academic Board
Two year term of office: 1 January 2012 - 31 December 2013
The next election for the Chair of the Academic Board will be held in Semester 2, 2013.
