Every two years elections are held for the following categories of Academic Board members:

In addition, elections are held every year for student representatives.

The next election for the Chair of the Academic Board will be held in Semester 2, 2017.

Academic Staff Members from Faculties

Two year term of office: 1 January 2016 - 31 December 2017

The next election of academic staff members to faculty boards will be held in Semester 2, 2017.

Student Members to Faculties

One year term of office: 1 January 2017 - 31 December 2017

The election of student members to faculties is governed by the policy Governance of Faculties, Colleges, College Boards, Boards of Studies, Departments, Schools and Committees.

The next election of student members to faculties will be held in Semester 2, 2016. Nomination forms will be available from the date below directly from each faculty (see this list for details of who to contact in each faculty). The election schedule is set out below.

Student Members to Academic Board

One year term of office: 1 January 2017 - 31 December 2017

Student members of the Academic Board are elected from the student members to faculties, who are themselves determined by election as outlined above. Eligible students will be contacted by the University Secretariat with information on how to nominate once elections open in September 2016.
