Heritage

The design of the project contains several initiatives to limit impacts on adjoining sites. These include:

• providing a building scale on Abercrombie Street that corresponds with those opposite
• ensuring adjoining properties maintain access to sunlight, and following key heritage principles of the local Darlington area
• reinterpretation of the existing joinery shop façade within the new development
