The storage capacity and content of our network servers is scanned on a regular basis and if any inappropriate files are noted as being stored by students, these will be deleted immediately and the relevant students notified. Inappropriate files include music, games and movie files. Students need to be aware of the code of conduct in relation to ICT at the University, specifically in relation to downloading and storing music, games or movie files on the University ICT equipment. The Faculty is committed to ensuring sufficient space is available on its network servers to ensure the smooth running of our network and that staff and students’ work is not impeded by inappropriate file storage.
