Enrolment and re-enrolment

For new commencing undergraduate students

The first thing to do if you have received an offer to study with us is to accept it, as outlined in your letter of offer.

If you have done this already, go to our enrolment site, which will take you though the enrolment process step by step.

Face-to-Face Academic Advice Day

Whilst new commencing students can accept their offers and enrol on-line, we recognise many students may also like the opportunity to get some detailed academic advice about their degrees, unit of study selections and bridging courses.

Irrespective of what stage you are at with accepting your offer and enrolling in your degree, we would like to invite you to attend our Faculty face-to-face Academic Advice Day for students commencing in the Bachelor of Environmental Systems, the Bachelor of Food and Agribusiness and the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture.

Morning session: 9 - 11.30am
Afternoon session: 1.30 - 3.30pm

Agriculture and Environment Handbook – the Faculty Handbook sets out your degree program in detail, including your degree requirements, unit of study selections and unit of study descriptions.

Bridging courses – Bridging courses are available in the assumed knowledge areas for your degree and are held prior to the start of 1st semester. If you have not completed the assumed knowledge for your degree as part of your HSC studies, you are strongly encouraged to enrol in a Bridging Course. For full details of the Bridging courses available, please see Science and Mathematics Bridging Courses.

Disability Support is available to students at the University of Sydney. This student support unit offers a range of services and adjustments to minimise the impact of any disability on your learning experience and to optimise your academic success.

Orientation Week (22-26 February) – Orientation Week is action-packed with welcomes, information sessions, activities and fun to get you off to the best start with your uni life. For Details of the University’s activities during this period see the Orientation Week program.

The Faculty of Agriculture and Environment also hosts a two day Welcome and Orientation on 25 and 26 February, which is a chance to meet with your fellow students, your degree coordinators, student service and support teams and also tour all the facilities. A full program will be made available to students on this site shortly and will also be emailed to students in early February.
