Background

I was a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Agriculture 1990-2002, and managed an economics policy unit in the NSW Government 2002-2011 (originally in the National Parks and Wildlife Service, and subsequently in an agency with a variety of names, currently called the Office of Environment and Heritage within the Department of Premier and Cabinet).

I have degrees from the University of New England (BAgEc, BA, MEc) and the University of London (PhD, London School of Economics and Political Science).
