ALF stand set up during "UniLive" Information Day.

July 2004

Mariam Bashir

Her Excellency Professor Marie Bashir AC, Governor of New South Wales, grants Vice Regal Patronage to the Australian Lebanese Foundation during the term of her office as Governor of New South Wales.










Gavin Brown

Visit by Professor Gavin Brown, Vice-Chancellor and Principal of the University of Sydney and Ms Diane Ranck together with Professor Iven Klineberg, Chris Peck and Wendell Evans to the Lebanese Dental Congress, alumni function and signing of MOU for a joint oral health program.

Scholarship recipients

First scholarship recipient awarded to Mr Budwy Rowda – Science.
Special incentive award presented to Ms Hind Elmir – Nursing.

January 2004

Youth Committee

Established ALF Youth Committee to mentor Lebanese youth and students and act as a support network.

ALF stand set up and staffed by the new committee members at The University of Sydney Information Day to hand out scholarship forms and inform enquirers about the ALF.
