Welcome our new students

Our Welcome to Sydney program connects our first-year international and regional students through small and relaxed events hosted by alumni, staff and friends of the University.

We invite you to host a social gathering for a small group of newly arrived students. It can be anything you like – a barbecue, a picnic, an outdoor activity, even a formal dinner. The choice is yours.
 
As you organise the gathering, we’ll organise who'll attend. Events are usually held from late March to May or late August to October, to coincide with the start of the semesters.
 
It’s a great opportunity for our students to make new friends from Australia and all around the world, and gives you the chance to do the same.
