CONVOCATION MEDAL
Conovation medal presentation
The Convocation Medal is awarded to an outstanding recent graduate who has contributed exceptionally to the life of the University and achieved a high standard of academic proficiency.

The Convocation Medal was established in 1979 by the University of Sydney Alumni Council (formerly the Standing Committee of Convocation). This prestigious award program features a long list of medallists whose enthusiasm and strong leadership has enriched the University life. A Convocation Medallist is announced annually during the Alumni Awards Presentation.

In 2008, Andrew McLeod (BSc(Adv) (Hons 1) '08) received the Convocation Medal for his academic achievements and contribution to the University life.
