Join us for the first of our 2008 Graduate Connections Breakfasts with Ms Heather Ridout (BEc '76, Chief Executive, Australian Industry Group) who will be addressing us on a topic which is both timely and topical 'The New Rudd Government and Australian Business'.

Ms Ridout is a leading figure in the public policy debate in Australia with over 25 years experience championing business interests at Federal and State levels. Her public policy interests embrace the whole range of industry, economic and community issues with a particular focus on workplace relations, the economy, industry, innovation, and education and training. Ms Ridout has twice been acknowledged as one of Australia's top 25 "True Leaders" by the Australia Financial Review's Boss Magazine.

Graduate Connections Breakfasts are held four times a year featuring orations by University of Sydney alumni who inspire, inform and invite discussion. They are held early on the morning at a convenient central CBD location enabling Alumni and Friends to start their work day fresh from a filling, delicious Breakfast mixed in with plenty of 'food for thought'.

All are welcome, however attendance is by pre-payment only before the 29 February RSVP deadline.
