Biographical details

Mr Liam Bray’s research explores how creative technologies provide us the ability to solve creative problems in new and novel ways, promote discovery and extend users’ ability to find innovation. Liam’s research investigates how algorithmic and AI systems function as tools that support creativity, focusing on enhancing creative practice through the application of interaction design and user experience. His current work involves developing human centred evaluative methods for creative AI systems. Previously Liam has worked as creative technologist, developing interactive media technologies for the Interactive media lab at the University of New South Wales. He is the Co-Program Director of the Bachelor in Design Computing and teaches design programming and physical computing within that program.
