Poster Guidelines
Please read the guidelines carefully to ensure your poster will be printed correctly.
You will be producing an A1 full colour PORTRAIT poster.

Poster contents
Layout
- Posters will be printed to A1 size
- Posters must be portrait
- The crest and panel must stay where they are
- Students can use/put other images where they choose (with the exception of in the banner)
- Posters do not have to include a 'sponsor' box
Panel student details
- Your name
- Your contact email address
- Your supervisor's name
- Your associate supervisor's name
Contents
- Short sentence introducing your research
- Images should be 300dpi resolution for printing
- Proper referencing for all copyrighted images and content
- Design, contents and layout is up to you, so be creative!
University of Sydney Logo
Illustrator (.ai) or (.eps)
Please note: "The University of Sydney" must be in Times new Roman. The coat of arms and the University's name must not be separated and used independently. Digital files can be scaled up or down proportionally but the size relationship between the coat of arms and the name must remain prominent and proportionally consistent.
Poster and Powerpoint Presentation Submission
Export the file as PDF (Press Quality with 3mm Bleeding) and email submission to .
Read the output instructions for correct output settings.
Poster Printing and Laminating
We will print your A1 poster and 30 A4 colour copies to handout at the Research Expo.
The Faculty will pay for the mounting and lamination costs.
