RESEARCH
I have been interested in developing sculpture installations with sound since 1982. My other major passion is ceramic sculpture and wheel thrown forms of which I have won awards and exhibited widely. Co-ordinated the firing and glazing of the Sunbeam Preschool community mural, Alexandria, NSW.
TEACHING
Currently Associate lecturer and co-ordinater of ceramics and Advanced Art,
Tin Sheds Art Workshop and Gallery, Faculty of Architecture, University of Sydney (since 1993).
IMPACT OF RESEARCH
My research into ceramics including clays, glazes, firing schedules, surface treatments etc. is passed on to students through teaching.
