The Madsen Building is the closest University building to the City Road gate of the University’s main (Camperdown) campus. It is located on the left hand side of the Eastern Avenue pedestrian mall when entering campus from City Road. Madsen is a heritage property built in the neo-gothic style and has a prominent tower.
The closest car-park to the building is to the left hand side as you face it, just as you enter the gate from City Road. Campus parking is on a metered basis.
Enter Madsen via the main door on Eastern Avenue (which opens onto the L3 foyer). The Institute's offices are in the "Centre for Classical and Near Eastern Studies of Australia" which is one storey up from street level, on level four, directly behind the foyer. Reception is room 480.
