Part time, usual hours: Monday – Wednesday & Friday, 9.30am to 5.30pm

Jane has experience in the museum sector. She has worked as an Interpretive Officer at the Australian Museum. She has also worked for the education departments of the Australian Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Macleay Museum – as an educator and/or in the design of educational material. Presently, when Jane is not working in her University role as Internship Officer, she works at the Australian Museum as an Education Project Officer on the development and running of education programs spanning a variety of subject areas including science, visual arts, design and history.

Jane’s initial tertiary training was in Science and in Education, and she has previously worked as a scientist and as a high school science and mathematics teacher. She also has a strong and long-held interest in the arts, and in the visual arts in particular.
