This workshop brings together a group of scholars from different fields in order to explore several interdisciplinary approaches to the history of ideas. Our aim is to engage historians, art historians, and philosophers in the reading of texts and images in order to show the range of perspectives shed by particular disciplinary approaches on the history of ideas, and to think through the problem of communicating big ideas in the modern world.
