Multimedia Room 209 - MR209

Location: level 2, Brennan side of Brennan MacCallum Building

This is an AV enhanced teaching facility where switching between AV content is manual.

Capacity is 24 seats.

The room supports:

• DVD playback to front screen via ceiling mounted Data Projector
• Computer presentations to front screen via ceiling mounted Data Projector
• VHS and Betamax playback to large screen TV
• CD and Tape audio playback via wall mounted speakers
• Network and Internet access from Teacher's computers (Internet access requires Unikey)
• Overhead projector for presenting transparencies to audience

Room Special Feature

Has movable AV Unit comprising of: TV, VHS Recorder; Super-Betamax Recorder; Audio Amplifier; Audio Casette Deck & DVD Player. Desktop computer out front and Data Projector mounted on ceiling.

The Sony VHS player supports PAL/NTSC video support. The DVD Player player supports multiple DVD regions as well as PAL/NTSC.

The Windows XP Desktop offers:

• Acrobat Reader
• FireFox as default Internet Browser
• Office 2003 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher & Access) and Antivirus
• QuickTime, RealPlayer and Windows Media Players
