On Monday 15th August Professor Wang Jisi delivered the 5th Annual Michael Hintze Lecture in International Security.
The event attracted over 170 people including the Chancellor of the University, students, distinguished alumni, University staff and members of the international security community.
Professor Wang, the Dean of the School of International Studies at Beijing University, spoke about the priorities of a rising China and how Beijing and Washington might cooperate on issues such as climate change, global economic recovery and North Korea.
