Dr Julia Kindt receives Excellence in Teaching award
22 October, 2012
Congratulations to Dr Julia Kindt (Classics and Ancient History), who has been awarded one of the Faculty's Excellence in Teaching (Design and Practice) Awards.
The awards are decided by the Teaching Excellence Awards Panel, a sub-committee of the Teaching and Learning Committee, who met in late September to judge this year’s applications. The panel consisted of Professor Rick Benitez (Pro-Dean, Teaching and Learning), Dr Ruth Barcan (past recipient), Dr Alison Kuiper (Institute for Teaching and Learning), Dr Sarah Gleeson-White (Teaching and Learning Committee School Representative SLAM) and Professor Barbara Caine (Head of School, School of Philosophical and Historical Inquiry).
Congratulations to Julia, who will receive her award at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences' Awards Ceremony early in Semester 1, 2013 when recipients are formally recognised for their achievements.
