Tea for Teachers

The Department of Classics and Ancient History is proud of our longstanding and mutually-beneficial relationship with colleagues teaching Ancient History and Classical Languages in Schools across NSW.

As part of our commitment to our teaching colleagues and to nurturing future teachers in our discipline each year we host ‘Tea for Teachers’ – a networking event aimed at celebrating the work of outstanding teachers.

Tea for Teachers 2017

Thursday 7 September 2017
3:30 pm – 6:00 pm

In 2017 Tea for Teachers will be concentrating on the teaching of ancient history at secondary level. Staff in the Department of Classics and Ancient History are keen to hear from teachers about how we, as a Department, can better serve and support secondary teaching.

The ‘Tea for Teachers’ also serves as a networking event for the Department's students who have an interest in becoming ancient history teachers and who always give very positive feedback on the mentoring and encouragement that they have received during the event from experienced teachers.
