The University of Sydney, and the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, offer many opportunities to seek funding in support of a students studies.
Students are advised to take their time and have a look at what’s on offer. Students can apply for as many scholarships as they want, and it's worth checking the latest updates from the Scholarship Office each month for new and open scholarships.
The Faculty is committed to supporting activities that widen the undergraduate experience outside of the classroom. The Dean’s Scholarship Fund was set up to receive donations from donors to be directed specifically to providing financial support for undergraduates to attend conferences or participate in other events in Australia and around the world. Events have included the Harvard Model United Nations, the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Peoples, and the International Association of World Englishes.
A Faculty Funding Committee will consider all applications for funding assistance. The amount of funding will depend on funds available in The Dean’s Scholarship Fund.
