7 years full-time

This program provides students with the opportunity to combine their demonstrated interests in the humanities with a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery.

Years 1-2 of the program will be principally Arts and Social Sciences-based, including all the necessary pre-requisites for Honours, but will also include first year Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Molecular Biology from the Faculty of Science as well as three short zero credit point subjects/activities that will be a preparation for the medical program. Year 3 of the program will be the Arts and Social Sciences Honours year, which must be completed before entry to Years 4-7, which will be exclusively the Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery. Completion of the GAMSAT will not be required for those successfully completing the Bachelor of Arts (Advanced) (Honours) as part of the combined program.
