Introduction

Once you are enrolled in your degree or diploma, you can add or change your unit of study (UoS) selections until the Friday of the second week of teaching in each semester. You are also able to withdraw from a UoS or request a period of suspension up to the census date of each semester.

Steps to follow

In most cases, you can manage your unit of study selections in your Sydney Student portal in myUni. If you are not able to change your selections yourself, a message will be displayed with the reason for the error.

Where you are not able to enrol because you do not meet the prerequisite requirements, it is recommended that you contact the undergraduate coordinator in the relevant department. We suggest emailing from your university email address. The academic staff member may request an interview, particularly for language units, or will ask for evidence that you have completed an equivalent prerequisite previously.

If the reason you cannot enrol is that the unit of study is not included in, or exceeds the requirements of, the resolutions of your degree you will need to seek permission from the Faculty Student Services team. To do this, you submit an application for special permission to enrol through your Sydney Student portal in myUni.
