One year full-time or up to three years part-time.

International students are required to enrol on a full-time basis.

Admission to candidature for the Graduate Diploma in Cultural Studies requires:

(a) a bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney with a minimum credit (65%) average, including a major in a relevant subject area in the humanities or social sciences, or an equivalent qualification; or (b) completion of the requirements for the Graduate Certificate in Cultural Studies with a minimum credit (65%) average, or an equivalent qualification.

6 units of study (totalling 36 credit points) comprising 1 core unit, 3 core electives and 2 electives or further core electives.
