One year full-time or two to four years part-time.

International Students are required to enrol on a full-time basis.

Admission to candidature for the Master of Human Rights requires:

(a) a bachelor's degree with a minimum credit (65%) average, from the University of Sydney, including a major in a relevant subject area in the humanities or social sciences, or an equivalent qualification; or (b) a Bachelor of Laws degree with a minimum credit (65%) average, or an equivalent qualification; or (c) completion of the Graduate Diploma in Human Rights with a minimum credit (65%) average, or an equivalent qualification.

8 units of study (totalling 48 credit points) comprising 4 core units plus 4 electives.
