Funding and Designing Your Project

The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences gains funding for its Teaching and Learning activities from a variety of sources.

Funding for elearning projects include:

• Teaching Improvement Projects Scheme (TIPS) grants

• Strategic Teaching Enhancement Projects (STEPS) – Small Grants
  For more information, please visit our grants page.
• Sydney eLearning Strategic Projects
  12,000 hours of work by Sydney eLearning Educational Designers is allocated per year for each cluster. The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences is in the HASS cluster (Humanities and Social Sciences).
  Sydney eLearning calls for Expressions Of Interest (EOIs) annually. The details for 2010 applications for projects commencing in 2011 will be available shortly. Please visit Sydney eLearning's website for more information and past project examples.

Christine Crowe, Director of Arts eLearning, is available to help academics prepare elearning grant applications and Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for Sydney eLearning’s strategic projects. Christine has assisted in the development of several strategic projects and can explain the intricacies of the application process.
