Dr Richard Holden
Richard Holden is an Assistant Professor of economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Sloan School of Management. There he teaches microeconomics in the MBA program at the Sloan School of Management and a PhD level course in contract theory in the economics department. He completed his PhD in the Harvard University economics department in 2006. His research is in the fields of microeconomic theory and formal political theory.
Prior to attending graduate school Dr Holden was a vice-president at Pacific Equity Partners, a private equity fund based in Sydney; and a senior associate consultant at Bain & Company, a management consultancy. He received a BEc from the University of Sydney with first-class honors and the university medal.
