Dr Tymula honoured by NYU

Congratulations Dr Agnieszka Tymula who was recently made a Visiting Affiliated Faculty at the Institute for the Interdisciplinary Study of Decision-Making at New York University, in recognition of her contribution to experimental economics and neuroeconomics.
The Institute for the Interdisciplinary Study of Decision-Making is the world’s first, largest and most renowned centre for neuroeconomics; the Institute Director and Professor of Neural Science, Economics and Psychology Paul Glimcher has co-authored several publications with Dr Tymula and will visit the School later this year to deliver a Sydney Ideas lecture.
Dr Tymula’s work on interdisciplinary neuroeconomics and behavioural economics garnered much media attention in 2013 with two major papers in the esteemed Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) and another in the American Journal of Political Science.
