Postgraduate Coursework in the Department of English
The Department of English offers postgraduate coursework degree programmes in English, Creative Writing and Professional Communication. The table below lists all courses for each program.
Career opportunities for people with postgraduate qualifications in English are many and various. MA and MLitt graduates have followed career paths or enhanced their professional development in secondary and TAFE education, libraries and archives, publishing, the media, and as policy-writers or speech-writers in the public service. Some Creative Writing students have become published writers during or after their candidature. Some coursework students go on to take research degrees.
