Set yourself up for success with the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Mentoring Program

The Mentoring Program offers opportunities for both first year students and senior student leaders to develop essential skills and build networks, setting you up for academic, professional and personal success during your studies and beyond.

We offer tailored programs for undergraduate students, international students and mature-age/25+* students throughout your studies.

As a new undergraduate student, you’ll first join the Mentoring Program during your orientation and first six weeks of study. You’ll be connected with a personal mentor, access skills building workshops, attend exclusive talks and seminars, and begin developing your networks at the University of Sydney.

As a senior student who are in their second year of study or later in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, you have the opportunity to become a Mentor yourself. You’ll receive intensive training to widen your leadership skills, access professional development and be able to apply your expertise in order to make an impact in the real world.

Applications to become a Mentor in 2018 have now closed.
