International focus

We encourage you to experience the world while studying in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
In 2016, we launched the first dual-degree programs in Australia, offering students the opportunity to study at Sciences Po in France. The Dayell Scholars and International and Global Studies streams within in the combined Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Advanced Studies degree both involve compulsory exchange study.

There are also further opportunities to participate in the University of Sydney’s International Exchange Program, allowing you to undertake part of your degree from a choice of over 230 universities worldwide.

Facilities

With an estimated collection of more than 4.5 million items as well as a range of sophisticated electronic information services, the University of Sydney library is one of the largest in the southern hemisphere. In addition, the faculty has an extensive library resource for language study and educational technology, video and audio production, web and multimedia development, videoconferencing and satellite television. We continue to improve student facilities with a new building for social sciences to be completed in 2018.
