How to Apply

Domestic Applicants

If you are an Australian citizen, a permanent resident, a New Zealand citizen, or a holder of a permanent humanitarian visa wishing to apply for undergraduate or postgraduate study in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, you can now apply online via Sydney Student.

International Applicants

If you are an international applicant, you must apply directly to the International Student Office, unless you are undertaking an Australian Year 12 certificate in Australia or an International Baccalaureate, in which case you must apply through the UAC.

The University of Sydney's International Student Office website contains comprehensive information on a range of issues for overseas students attending the University.

You can apply online through the International Office website or contact the International Student Office to request a copy of the application form and guidelines to assist you in submitting your application. The International Student Office also provides advice about living in Sydney and finding accommodation during your studies here.
