Postgraduate Research in Economics
The School of Economics offers two postgraduate research programs, the Master of Philosophy and Doctor of Philosophy, designed to provide students with advanced knowledge and research training in economics. The School provides an environment in which critical thought and analysis is encouraged, with internationally recognised scholars engaged in economic research across a range of theory and applied fields. Faculty members in the School have a wide range of research expertise and can offer supervision across both theory and empirical areas.
Completion of postgraduate research in economics provides a range of opportunities for students with recent graduates gaining positions at leading academic institutions, international organisations such as the OECD and roles at private sector corporations such as JP Morgan.
