Coursework degree

Hebrew, Biblical and Jewish Studies centres on a number of major areas: the Classical Hebrew language of the Old Testament of the Bible, Bible studies, Modern Hebrew, and Jewish civilisation, thought and culture. Units of study encompass language and literature (focusing on Hebrew, Aramaic, and Syriac) as well as Hebrew and Judaic history and culture. Students can explore both historic and contemporary issues, such as the Arab-Israeli conflict and the relationship of Osama bin Laden to modern Israel.
