The books of the Hebrew Bible are studied in the light of their setting and composition history. The course consists of: set classical texts (2 hours); and special background area study (2 hours).
1x2hr exam (60%), continuous assessment and class preparation (20%), 1x1500wd essay (20%)
HBRW1112 or HBRW2632 or HSC Hebrew
This unit is available as a designated 'Advanced' unit to students enrolled in the BA (Advanced) degree program. As part of the 2014 curriculum review this unit of study has been replaced by HBRW3602. This unit of study will not be offered again
