Description

This unit is designed for students who have successfully completed HBRW3614. In this unit students will analyze the contextual and linguistic features of contemporary Modern Hebrew texts, which reflect social and cultural issues of Israeli society covering the period over the last two centuries. On successfully completing this unit, students will achieve a proficiency level equivalent to the Hebrew University fifth level of instruction.

10x100wd self-study tasks (20%), 1x750wd major written assignment (20%), 2x5min oral assignment (each equivalent to 250wds) (10%), 1x1hr mid-semester test (20%), 1x1.5hr examination (25%), seminar participation (5%)
