Requirements
A Bachelor degree with a major in ancient history or history or modern history.

Structure
Candidates for the Master of Arts (History) must complete 48 credit points (eight units of study), comprising 1 core unit plus 7 electives from the History postgraduate course offerings.
Subject to the approval of the academic coordinator, candidates may select units from outside their specialisation up to a maximum of half the course requirements. Units of study may be selected from other faculties as part of this amount to a maximum of 12 credit points for Master of Arts.
Freedom of Choice
History is a flexible program, and you can structure your study to suit your needs. Thus, you can study for a Graduate Diploma, and then apply to complete two more units of study for a Master of Arts in History, subject to approval by the academic coordinator.
