HSTY1089 Australia: Colonies to Nation, 1788-1967 (2009)

Over 95% of the respondents indicated that they were satisfied or very satisfied with the quality of this unit of study. Only two students out of 98 respondents overall indicated that they were neutral and none disagreed or strongly disagreed.

Overall students liked the lectures and the subject matter of both the lectures and tutorials. Some students thought the tutorials were too large and some wanted more emphasis on regular assessment and less on one essay and one end of semester exam. I can’t do anything about tutorial class size but I will introduce an early assessment task that carries more marks.
