Zoe Morrison, Project Officer

Zoe is originally from the UK and spent most of her childhood living in Europe and Africa. Travelling extensively in Europe has given Zoe the travel bug which she uses to explore her curiosity of world culture and adventure sports. She has a BSc (Hons) in Applied Marine Biology from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh and spent several years working in recruitment in Edinburgh before falling in love with Australia. Zoe has previous worked with the International division of University of Technology, Sydney.

Anna Noonan, Program Manager

Anna Noonan manages the daily operations of the Torture Prevention Research Program and provides logistic and administrative support and advice to academic staff and the wider stakeholder audience in its development and implementation. With several years experience co-ordinating human rights-based projects in Australia and the Asia-Pacific, Anna can draw on highly developed and comprehensive project management skills in grant administration, project and financial management, procurement and sub-contracting of consultants, project accounting and reporting. Prior to this role, Anna was the Program Coordinator of the Masters of Human Rights and Democratisation (Asia Pacific) Program, also at the University of Sydney.

Anna has considerable experience in developing and managing international development and technical assistance projects in human rights, press freedom, health and sustainable development, having implemented a number of capacity building programs from local grass-roots organisations and Australia-based NGOs, to industry leaders from across the Asia Pacific region and international organisations including the International Federation of Journalists and the World Health Organisation.
