The School of Languages and Cultures (SLC) has developed an exciting new offering for students wanting to prepare themselves for a truly global career.

Launching in 2018, the Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Multilingual Translation) will give you an enhanced linguistic and cultural competency in at least two languages other than English. After completing two language majors, your fourth year will be spent applying your language and translation skills to undertake three real-world translation projects specific to your two languages, along with advanced coursework in translation studies, including translating content effectively for digital media and the ethics and principles of translation.

This course will give you an industry-leading professional skillset in translation and content localisation, and as a graduate you will be able to translate across three languages. Your fourth year studies will have prepared you to work and excel in both business and public sector professions in Australia, the Asia-Pacific, and globally, or to progress to postgraduate research.
