Majoring in Sanskrit

Indian and Subcontinental Studies offers a major in Sanskrit. Requirements for a major in Sanskrit are outlined in the Units of Study section of the 2012 Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Handbook:

Cross-listed units of study
Units of study from other departments may be cross-listed towards the Sanskrit major. See below for senior level undergraduate, non-language units of study in Indian and Buddhist philosophy, religion, history, culture, politics and social structures, which are taught by Department of Indian Subcontinental staff and that are cross-listed from the Asian Studies Program.
