Coming to Sydney

Sydney CBD

Every year, students from around the world are welcomed to the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Sydney under the Sydney Abroad program. This program allows you to complete one semester or a year of your degree at the University of Sydney – either as a study abroad student or as an exchange student.

The Study Abroad program is where you enrol and pay your semester’s fees to the University of Sydney. You may apply directly to the University of Sydney or via one of many program partners.

Student Exchange is a tuition fee waiver program. This means that your exchange here is part of your course at your home university. The University of Sydney has an extensive range of student exchange partnerships with universities throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia. Check with your home university's Exchange Office about how you can be nominated to the University of Sydney.
