XII Italian Language Week

From 21 August, 2012 to 23 August, 2012

This year the World Italian Language Week (Settimana della Lingua Italiana nel Mondo), designated by the Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs to promote the Italian Language throughout the world focusses on the theme “L'Italia dei territori e l'Italia del futuro” (Italy of the terriotories, Italy of the future) and the Department of Italian Studies has organized a series of events to  which students, colleagues and the community are invited.
 
“Talk”: Tuesday  21 August at 4.15 pm, Philosophy Room S249 (Main Quadrangle)
Dr Antonia Rubino will talk on: I dialetti in Italia oggi tra continuità e rivitalizzazione;
 
“Film”: Tuesday 22 August at 1 pm, Woolley Lecture Theatre S325,
Basilicata coast to coast di Rocco Pappaleo  (2010);
 
“Talk”: Thursday 23 August at  4.15, Philosophy Room S249 (Main Quadrangle)
