Cristiana Palmieri graduated with a B.A. (Hons) in Political Sciences (Laurea in Scienze Politiche) from the University of Bologna (Italy), majoring in Organisational Sociology, with a thesis on Organisational Culture and Climate. She then worked for 6 years as Adjunct Lecturer for the Chair of Organisational Psychology, researching on group dynamics and organisational climate. She holds a management position with the Australian Federal Government. She also teaches Italian language and culture at the WEA College, and Sociology to undergraduate students at the University of Sydney.

Cristiana is currently a PhD candidate under the supervision of Dr. Antonia Rubino. For her doctoral thesis she is working on the impact of group dynamics on motivation in second learning acquisition.
