David Lyle is Chief Operating Officer of Fox Reality Channel and has over 25 years experience in the development and adaptation of unscripted formats. He was previously president for entertainment for FremantleMedia and has also worked with Pearson Television. Prior to joining FremantleMedia and Pearson, he was a senior executive at the Nine Network.
David’s talk will be an overview of the last ten years of international TV. As well as looking at the history, the genres and some of the extremes of ‘reality TV’, we look at the changing economics in television and its necessary dependence on reality for the foreseeable future.
