Biographical details

Dr Giles was appointed to the Media and Communications Department in June 2005. A well-known writer and editor, since graduating in English from Oxford University she has worked in publishing and print journalism and has published six books, 11 book chapters, and numerous journal, magazine and newspaper articles. She is currently on the editorial advisory board of Australian Feminist Studies (Macquarie University) and Outskirts: Feminists Along the Edge.
